Course Description
The 60-hour Construction Safety and Health Manager training program provides essential safety training for construction workers, equipping participants with the knowledge to enhance workplace safety and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Key topics include an Introduction to OSHA, Fall Protection—critical due to its high fatality rates in construction—and the OSHA Focus Four Hazards. Participants will also learn about Heat Stress Management and Prevention, Excavation and Trenching Safety, Scaffold Inspection, and the Hazard Communication Program, one of the top ten most cited OSHA standards. Additionally, the course covers Confined Space Programs, Energy Control (Lockout/Tagout), and includes OSHA Forklift Certification, which also ranks among the most frequently cited violations. By the end of the program, participants will be well-prepared to lead safety initiatives in the construction industry.
