Course Description

Managers and supervisors play a crucial role in fostering a world-class safety culture. As “agents of the employer,” they have a legal obligation to fully understand their safety responsibilities within the workplace. This 60-hour Occupational Safety and Health Manager training program is designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills to enhance workplace safety and compliance. The course begins with an introduction to OSHA and fundamental principles of occupational safety and health. Participants will learn how to conduct effective workplace safety inspections and implement a comprehensive Hazard Communication Program. Additional topics include the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strategies for managing and preventing heat stress. By the end of the program, attendees will be prepared to foster a safer working environment and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
