Course Description

This course provides an in-depth overview of the Fire Prevention Plan (FPP) and its importance in creating a safe work environment. Participants will learn about the legal requirements for having an FPP, including OSHA regulations and NFPA standards. The course covers the components of an effective FPP, including fire hazards, emergency action plans, training, and maintenance. Participants will also learn about the role of management, employees, and the local fire department in implementing and enforcing the FPP. The course emphasizes the importance of good housekeeping, proper storage, and other fire prevention practices.   • Understanding the roles and responsibilities of different personnel in the FPP, including management, supervisors, employees, and emergency responders.
