Course Description
This course provides an overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and its standards for workplace safety and health. The course covers the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees under OSHA, as well as the inspection process and the consequences of non-compliance. Students will learn about the most frequently cited OSHA standards, including hazard communication, walking-working surfaces, personal protective equipment, and more. The course will also cover OSHA resources that are available to help employers improve workplace safety, including the On-Site Consultation Program, Voluntary Protection Program, and Alliance Program.
